CHRISTMAS COMES TO THE FAMILY ROOM

I have been having a real hard time
taking Christmas photos of the house.

The days have been gloomy,
and it gets dark so early.

By the time I get home from school and straighten things up, the sun (if there is any) is already setting.

And if I don't come straight home, it is too late.

Today I rushed home and poofed the pillows.

I put the remotes in a drawer and stashed the mail.

And finally took a few daylight photos.
It still wasn't very bright, but we're running with it.

So here folks, is our family/tv room.
The lightest, brightest room in the house.

I love decorating with this Ikea sectional.
 Everything looks good with it!

Because of the woodstove, we actually debated about buying an artificial tree for the living room.

After much deliberation
(and seeing what a decent artificial tree cost),
we opted for a real tree
and decided to squish put it in the tv room.

It is quite amazing
what we have managed to cram into this room.

  1. It's all so pretty and homey looking. Love your tree. We are having the same dreary weather here making pics impossible to take.
