The Long Awaited Home

I am sitting in my warm, dry cozy home, watching the effects of Hurricane Sandy outside my window.

Yesterday we prepared for the worst.

I say good-bye to my cozy home and head to work. I have a 15 minute drive ahead.

I have been busy making some small changes to the dining room.

Last week we had our first frost.

By early afternoon it was mild again.

Well, yesterday was sure an interesting day in the neighborhood. At about 6:20, I locked myself out of the house.

Another rainy Sunday in New Hampshire. So.... what to do? Flea Markets and Antique Shops of course.

Here's my score. Total cost - $120

As soon as the air turns crisp, I turn on the oven whenever I can.
