Christmas Home Tour 2014

Welcome back!  It feels like I've been gone forever and I have really missed you all!

We took down the wall between the tv room and the dining room.  I will be doing something with the wood in the future, but Thanksgiving came too fast, and then it was the Christmas season.  All our projects have been put on hold until after the holidays.  So in the middle of all our unfinished projects - welcome to our Christmas Home Tour!

And here is project #2.  We are almost done sanding the stairs and will be refinishing them in January.

As you can see from most of the photos including this one - we have every color of the brown rainbow going on with the wood in our house.  Project #3 will be painting the window trim and baseboards (but leaving the exposed beams).  We want to try to get the stairs and beams all close to the same color, and make the wood surrounding the new open wall to look like aged beams.

Thanks for stopping by!  Merry Christmas!
