Summer so far has been everything you dream summer to be. It has been relaxing with just enough adventure to make it fun. My husband and I are enjoying our home and gardens and the fruit of all our labor. We still don't have every part of the yard complete, and we may never get there, but we are closer than we have ever been and it is such a joy! This weekend was our town's garden walk. Last year they asked us to be part of the tour, and I decided not to. I am so glad I didn't do it, because I know the stress would have been huge. It was the hottest weekend we've had in New Hampshire in years, and I know I would have been killing myself to try to get it perfect. We have so many weeds and it is a constant battle. We are careful with what products we use because of the pups, so we try to use natural weed control which doesn't work great. I kind of like the gardens a bit wild and free.

  2. Beautiful garden and pups. Reminds me of the days we had 2 Siberian Huskies. One could be in the garden all day and come in clean and never damage a single plant. The other one, well, she was just naughty!
