Menu Plan Monday

Another week, another shopping trip.
My goal is to budget $150 a week for groceries for 3-4 people.
This week, I spent $150.
Except for the $35 that my daughter spent yesterday,
picking up some of her expensive healthy foods.

FRENCH ONION SOUP

One of my favorite recipes is French Onion Soup.  It is so easy to make and the results are ALWAYS great.

French Onion Soup

2 Tbsp butter
3 large onions (I like to use 3 different kinds,
 but not necessary)
2 Tbsp sugar
1/4 cup cooking sherry
1 Tbsp worcestershire
1 box beef broth
salt & pepper to taste
swiss cheese
Italian or French bread

FALL - FOOTBALL - FOOD

Fall means football - and of course food just goes hand in hand with the game.

This Sunday night, only my hubby was home for the game.  He requested very basic "football snacks."
