My Neck of the Woods - Southern New Hampshire

Today was a gorgeous, snowy day in New Hampshire.  We had a 90 minute delay for school this morning and it continued to snow lightly all throughout the day.  The snow was heavy and sticky and clung to the trees making everything look magical.  After school, I grabbed the dogs and my camera hoping to catch some photos before I lost the light.  I drove around taking photos of some of my favorite homes, farms, and barns.  The dogs love to sit in the back seat with the windows open.  I crank up the heat and they stick their heads out as far as they can, one out each window.  You should see the looks we get!

I hit as many sites as I could before it got too dark.  This red barn with the clock tower is one of my favorites.

3:20pm!
I only have about an hour before I lose the light!

There are antique homes everywhere in southern NH.

There are horses everywhere.
I can't resist stopping and the dogs love staring at the horses too.

This is the Exeter River.

More old houses.

Beautiful barns.

I love old wooden doors, and apparently red houses.

This row of trees on a farm I frequently pass always stops me in my tracks.

This is a neighborhood of replica homes built on a dirt road.  They are all quite beautiful.

The lights are on.  Time to head home.

    1. Thank you for stopping by Rachel. We are lucky and sometimes I need to remind myself of that! We have mountains, oceans, lakes, historic cities and rural areas, all within driving distance. The winters are long but beautiful.
