Boxwood Winter Wreath

I miss the greenery that filled my home during the weeks of
December.
I wanted to use some fresh greens around the house,
but without the Christmas feel.

I gathered some boxwood from my yard.

I purchased an inexpensive wire frame and some wire.

I then bundled some sprigs of boxwood.

And wired the bundles to the frame.

I went around twice.

Then I tucked in some artificial flowers.

And hung it on an empty wall.

The boxwood held up much longer than the other greens I used at Christmastime.  I'm hoping to get about 6 weeks out of this wreath.

  1. Wow I didn't realize you could get so many weeks out of boxwood. It is on my list to plant this year. Your wreath is beautiful and perfect to get you through winter.
