WEEKEND FINDS

Another rainy Sunday in New Hampshire.  So.... what to do?  Flea Markets and Antique Shops of course.

Here's my score. Total cost - $120

I found a great shop in Merrimac, New Hampshire.  Everything outside was 50 percent off.

The total for the 2 benches, adirondack rocker, vintage saw, sled, and star - $85!

I found the tool tote ($15) and grain sack ($5) at an indoor flea market at an old mill in Manchester.

It's so hard to find a decent flea market in New Hampshire.  Most of them sell those rip-off pocketbooks, and not much else.

I think I did ok this time though!

By the time I got home at 6pm, it had stopped raining but it was almost dark.

I quickly arranged all my finds for a quick photo.  I'll probably put the wicker away until spring.
(It was a "side of the road" find).

Here's a before:

And the after:

I think it is a little busy, but I'm going to work on it.

  5. Wow! Those are GREAT finds! You'd never be able to score that lawn furniture for that price down here in Texas! I absolutely love that wooden tool box. It's got such great character.

  10. Wow, somebody at that shop was loving the red paint (on the chair, the bench and the flat bench). In my book, that's a really good thing! -- Min
