I have been busy making some small changes to the dining room.

Almost everything I used was free.
This is the hydrangea wreath I was making when I locked myself out of the house the night of the earthquake.
My lovely neighbor gave me oodles
 of hydrangeas to dry.
 I have used them everywhere.
I pulled this hutch out of the garage.
So far I have done nothing to it but clean it up.
Eventually I will do something with it.

I shopped the house and found different items for the hutch, including some more hydrangeas and a pinecone or two.

 The final result....for now.

  1. Your dining room looks pretty and fallish. You are so lucky to get the hydrangeas. At my house that we just moved from I had lots of hydrangea bushes. Never could bring myself to cut the flowers. Now I wish I would have!
